RACE MARE

CAT’S GOT LEGS (by Adcat/Lightning Gal)

PPS

“Cat” looks like a versatile mare who can run long or short, on turf or on synthetics. She has an astounding win percentage (26%) with seven wins in 27 tries. Even more impressive, she is a proven money earner. Cat has earned a check in every single start, and been on the board, fourth or better, 25 times. This is a mare I think we can have a lot of fun with:
A 10% interest in her is $1,800

2008 CONGAREE COLT (registered MD-bred and Breeders’ Cup nominated)

PEDIGREE

We took advantage of a down sales market and were able to purchase this beautifully made colt by CONGAREE out of a multiple stakes producer.

Congaree, of course, was a ten-time Graded stakes winner of over $3.2 million, whose wins include the Hollywood Gold Cup-G1 and Cigar Mile-G1. He was one of the soundest, most versatile horses since Dr. Fager, and in fact, was an Eclipse finalist as Champion sprinter, champion older horse and Horse of the Year. Congaree has sired five stakes winners, and four more stakes placed runners from his first crop, three-year-olds of 2009.

This is a grand Congaree colt, whose female family is filled with high class stakes horses. He is out of the stakes mare Worthy of Silver, who has produced two foals to race, both stakes horses. The second dam is Miss Secreto, champion two-year-old and three-year-old in Italy, and dam herself of three stakes winners. A 3/4 sister to Worthy of Silver has produced the millionaire G2 winner San Carlo.

A 10% ownership interest in this colt is $1,800

2008 GRAND SLAM filly (registered NJ-bred)

PEDIGREE

This lovely filly is by one of the leading international sires of our day, and from a family laced with two-year-old performance.

Grand Slam was a multiple Grade I winner at two and a Graded stakes winner again at three, when he also ran second in the Breeders’ Cup Sprint-G1. He is already the sire of more than 100 stakes horses. In 2009, Grand Slam has sired the earners of $5.6 million, led by three two-year-old stakes winners. Just three stallions have sired more two-year-old stakes winners.

This filly’s young dam, Wild Mistress, was a winner at two, and both her foals to race are winners. Her 2009 two-year-old, Wild Lime, won a $38,000 maiden special weight at Delaware by 4 1/4 lengths. Wild Lime is by a son of Grand Slam, and is thus a 3/4 brother to our filly.

Wild Mistress is a half sister to two stakes winners and one Graded stakes placed runner;

her half sister has already produced a multiple stakes winner of $377,000, and her half brother, Shadowbdancing has won five stakes and over $350,000, including a $125,000 stakes since the catalogue was printed.

This Grand Slam filly is from one of the true Foundation families in the Stud Book--

her third dam is a half sister to Broodmare of the Year Fall Aspen, and this family includes numerous champions and G1 winners including Dubai Millennium, Timber Country, and Dixie Union.

A 10% ownership in this filly is $1,200
